Find the existing record
Open the business directory, choose the community, and select the record published by the authorized source.
Business verification
Verification establishes who may speak for a business record. It does not turn a licence entry into evidence of employment, current operations, ownership, or hiring.
Start with the directory even if you already have a business account. The verification action belongs to the business record itself.
01
Open the business directory, choose the community, and select the record published by the authorized source.
02
OEX associates the claim with your account. A claim is always tied to one business and one accountable person.
03
Because municipal licence snapshots do not include private contact details, OEX uses a recorded verification conversation and a time-limited code.
04
Review one section at a time. You can grant, decline, or later withdraw consent without a blank being interpreted as zero.
Directory coverage follows reviewed, authorized sources and is not yet province-wide. You can review the governed field-intake process or create a business account without claiming that a missing public record exists.
