VeilPoint Opportunity Exchange · Pilot preview

From fragmented data to unified economic intelligence

Opportunity Exchange brings disconnected public data together and runs it through a common engine. It goes beyond simply reporting what today's statistics show by connecting labour, skills, housing, businesses, trade, costs, and emerging signals into a clearer picture of Saskatchewan's economy.

This pilot demonstrates the public-data architecture and its human interface. It combines published datasets with clearly identified modelled scenarios and is not yet a public-production launch. Where current job links are available, applications stay with the original source.

59 upstream datasets registered · 54 approved for defined uses · 22 runtime providers: 19 published, 0 preview, 3 empty.

Explore the evidence, the community views, and the source register. Every published, modelled, preview, and unavailable value is identified in context.

Confidence and publication class are separate: publication class controls which fields may be shown, while confidence describes the strength and local validation of the evidence behind them.

Path to Tier A

  1. 1.Register current municipality-provided business, assessment, permitting, facility or equivalent administrative evidence under approved terms.
  2. 2.Use at least one model-relevant local source and corroborate it with a second independent local evidence domain.
  3. 3.Reconcile material differences against the public-source estimate and retain the review record.
  4. 4.Complete direct municipal review and establish an organizational data steward and refresh cycle.

Tier A remains a modeled estimate unless a municipality separately publishes it as an official statistic; partnership validation does not change that claim boundary.
